HAIR-COMBING
Hair-combing's procedure
During the eve of the wedding day, both the Bride and Groom will have their hair combed in their respective home by their parents. The father recites the auspicious blessings, while the mother combs the hair. The Bride and Groom's hair must be combed four times and each stroke holds an auspicious meaning.
The first stroke symbolizes from sweet beginning till the end. The second stroke symbolizes harmony from now till old age. The third stroke symbolizes healthy children and grand-children. The fourth stroke summaries abundant wealth and a long-lasting marriage.

- Round Comb (Bride)
- Double-sided Comb (Groom and Bride)
- Sewing kit (Bride)
- 1 set of mirror (Groom and Bride)
- 1 red string (Groom and Bride)
- Auspicious Ruler (Groom and Bride)
